Terrain

The terrain around the station is largely flat. Even though the station is located in the northern portion of the Texas Hill Country, the hills are small and the area around Lake Buchanan is fairly flat. The station has a good, clean horizon in all directions. These photos were taken by George Fremin III K5TR while performing tower work on the 41 m (135') tall 20/40 Meter Tower.
